THE QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM AT AGROS
NOVA
|
 |
We attach great importance to developing our base
of raw materials. All our suppliers are provided
with precisely defined quality requirements for
particular fruits and vegetables as well as for
the selection of varieties. Every year we test
the new varieties of fruit and vegetables that
appear on both the domestic and foreign market.
The final assessment of the suitability of particular
varieties is carried out by our Purchases Department,
Quality Control Department, and Research and Development
Department. Detailed specifications also define
requirements for semi-manufactured products and
packaging. These products and packaging materials
are passed on for further processing only if they
pass quality tests.
-
Before our machinery is switched on, production
supervisors make sure that the whole technological
line is perfectly clean. All the machinery is subject
to inspections, servicing and matainance essential
to ensure that the production process runs smoothly
and without technical hitches.
-
The production process, including packing, is
being continuously monitored by our Production
Department and Quality Control Department.
-
The finished product is analysed to test its physicochemical,
microbiological and organoleptic properties. Organoleptic
analysis is carried out using a modern sensory
panel. All the results of physicochemical tests
are presented in Finished Product Cards. All batches
of our products are subject to quality control.
The quality requirements for all our finished products
are specified in the Book of Finished Product Specifications.
-
Testing and quality control is carried out on
a regular basis using measuring equipement operating
under continuous supervision.
-
Storing is also under full control. At our warehouses
we work according to the FIFO method (First In, First
Out).
-
Of vital importance to ensure good quality of
juices, drinks and nectars is the quality of water,
an ingredient of all our products. The water we
use in the production process is spring water that
comes from our own bored wells.
-
Essential to the quality of our products is also
inspecting the production halls and machinery for
cleanliness and ensuring the personal hygiene of
our employees.
- The detailed internal quality control rules and
regulations at Agros Nova specify the frequency and
places of taking product samples, the sizes of samples,
assessment criteria, the range of characteristics
to be assessed, the frequency of carrying out quality
tests, the type of controlling and measuring equipment
used, and the precision of test results. The results
of tests and inspections are analysed by department
managers in case further correction and preventative
measures are needed.
