Agros Nova has been actively looking for some additional selling opportunities of its products abroad, especially in those markets that enjoy a high potential for growth, such as for instance countries of the former Eastern Block, the youngest members of the European Union. Our new export strategy makes it possible for us to effectively dwell on the opportunities that have opened for Poland due to its membership in the EU.


Today we export our products under the following brand names: Sonda, Krakus, Garden, Łowicz, Pysio, IZI, as well as DrWitt (since August 2005) to 25 countries on 5 continents. Our biggest turnover is achieved in Great Britain and the US. Next on our exports list are respectively: Bulgaria, Canada, Russia and Ireland.


Early in 2007, Agros Nova commenced to sell its products in American retail networks, such as Publix, Shop Rite, and Stop&Shop. In this way, we were able to achieve very good sales effects and to develop our distribution activities in the USA, also outside the community of Polish immigrants.


We have been successfully strengthening our stature in Great Britain, and our brand products, such as Krakus, Garden and DrWitt have been present in Cash&Carry and such networks as Asda, Morrison's, Nisa Today's, Bestway C&C, Sainsbury's, Tesco and others.


Our main export hit is carrot juices, which today constitute more than 40% of Agros Nova's total value of exports, among others in the Balkans and in the Baltic states.


Only in 2006, we had a record, more than 230% export growth in the Balkans. This success was made possible both by our participation in the campaign that promoted the value of our carrot juices and nectars, which was co-financed with European Union's resources, as well as in the TV campaign that advertised Agros Nova's chief export line of Frutti Carrotti carrot juices, which had been carried out in Bulgaria. These activities resulted in more than 84% growth of our whole carrot juices segment in Bulgaria, but primarily in the dynamic growth in our Frutti Carotti brand's share in the market.


At the moment, Agros Nova is a sales leader of carrot juices and nectars in Bulgaria, where we reached a record share in the market that amounted to almost 38% (in terms of its value) in December 2006. We are convinced that the
co-operation which we started with our new distributor in Bulgaria in May 2007 can be instrumental in permanent strengthening of Agros Nova's market stature, and in extending our export offer both in this market and in other Balkan markets.


At the same time, we have been highly active in particular markets, organising, together with our distributors, a number of attractive consumer promotion campaigns that support our product sales at local levels.
